Podcast No. 12. A Dictator Speaks.

It has been a long time since I have produced a podcast, so I hope this one is up to scratch. It is improved immeasurably by the presence of the always interesting and informative Jordan Wyatt, founder of the Invergargill Vegan Society and presenter of the mighty Co-Existing With Nonhuman Animals Podcast.

I invited Jordan along for this podcast because we are both representatives of recently-formed vegan societies (in my case Vegan Ireland) and we have both been engaged to some degree with the debate about whether veganism is easy or hard in 2011. Apart from discussing that issue, looking at the availability of vegan foods, clothing and other products, we also have a chat about whether large national animal advocacy organisations are still necessary in the age of the internet.

During the course of our talk, Jordan mentions THIS link about professional use of "synthetics" in uniforms.

I hope you enjoy the podcast (the audio quality is a little ropey for a short section, so I hope you do not find that too distracting).
